The charity walk for the fight against breast cancer, Corri la Vita, had its 12th edition today in Florence and established a new record with 35,000 participants. I chose the 5 km walk in the city center, while for the better trained runners a route of 13 km was set out. A stream of gray t-shirts, this year’s color, slowly made its way through the narrow streets of the old center of Florence, but it was a pleasant walk with friends under a warm late summer sun.
